Wow Jason,

I can't believe I have never seen this. I am #6 of the Trapani girls, and was there the day that you interviewed my parents. I was also there the day that you are referring to in this article. I stumbled on it yesterday after getting an itch to google my parents names and see what came up. This was the first thing I saw. None of my sisters had seen it either. I sent it to all of them, and many other family members. Thank you so much for the beautiful way in which you wrote about my parents. I find it so complimentary of them that you "got it" after spending a short amount of time with them. It is a true testiment to the love that they so obviously shared. All of us girls know how very blessed we are that we were raised with a profound example of true love. I am so grateful that I found this article and had to reach out to thank you. I am so happy that things are going so well for you. Please give all of our best to Matt as well. Take care, and please let us know if you are in Denver anytime. We would all love to see you!

I met Hoyt and Ruth when Hoyt and I were enrolled in the Department of Social Relations at Harvard Universit;y where both of us received a Ph.D. degree in sociology. Hoyt was one of the two or three fellow student I liked most. He and Ruth were just starting a family then. I knew about their Mormon roots but not their inspiring love story. If he is still alive, I would appreciate your sending him my email address so that we can get back in touch. I was sorry to hear that he lost Ruth so many years ago.

Ah Lorolei and Bob, so good to "see" you on here! I always feel your presence around this project and I return the thanks for your constant contact with Mat and me. Someone requested a personal inscription in in our book and asked that an elder couple might share their wisdom for overcoming hardships in marriage. Might you be interested?

Thank you, Jason, for sharing the magazine article. We had not seen it. It is so important to make each day count as we journey this earth life. Our "choices" affect us for years and years to come. LOVE is a choice. Everyone wants to make it "a feeling" or an "emotion", but one must CHOOSE to love. Feelings can't be trusted. I Corinthians 13:4-6 makes no mention of feelings. "Love" never fails! It isn't always easy, but it is worth every effort! Thank you for keeping in touch. Bob and I are so honored and grateful to have been a small part of your's and Mat's Project Everlasting adventure. Please give our best wishes and love to Mat also. We pray your upcoming holiday season will be overflowing with LOVE! Lorolei & Bob Brown

Love this. Thank you Jason. This is EXACTLY what I needed to read this morning... No joke. Yes, it's about being in choice. About choosing who you will be and just doing it.
Thank you for leading by example and being courageous enough to explore love and live it.
